Role:
Director / Livestream Operator / Editor
Description:
For this project I did a livestream for a drama production of The Wizard of Oz at Delia School of Canada, a large International School in Quarry Bay. For this livestream production, I organized a team of freelance videographers to help operate the 3 camera angles whilst I controlled the livestream and switcher. This was a big project that required a lot of setting up, good communication, and technical problem solving when needed.
The show's duration was around 1 hour long, so required a lot of monitoring of all the equipment, including the temperature of the cameras, quality of the internet and stream connection, and overseeing the comments of the stream to make sure the viewers were satisfied.
The school also wanted a basic highlights video of the production (as shown above), so I edited this on the day of the event and handed it to them within an hour of the end of the show. There was also a post-show interview we live-streamed for the school at a separate venue (see below).
